Animation - Kush Life Intro
Commissioned Co-Founder of Sight Tech, Dr. Micheal Brooks, near the beginning of June 2018, this project was to be the promotion and intro to the vblogs of the Kush Life (Coming around July 2018).
The Kush Life, Maine, is a media outlet that advertise the processes, daily applications, and medicinal facts of proper Cannabis consumption.
I was selected to animate an intro because of my aesthetic in art and traditional animation, and because, "Traditional animation is always cool while more people are into anime these days".
Well we both decided to keep things simple for now, but I did have an idea to make it complicated. However, it probably would have taken too much time to make. He wanted a "serene Japanese landscape turning into a Maine environment as their specific image." Actually, Cannabis was first used in China and Japan during the Neolithic Age as clothing then psychoactive drugs afterwards.

- Most Assets used were drawn on paper, then added to Clip Studio to be colored.
- Then all components are rigged and animated in Toon Boom Harmony.
- Finally, the music and smoke effects were added in After Effects.
All the work spanned two weeks. Though I had to use trial versions of Harmony and After Effects, because I will be unavailable in July.
